The Organization

Our client is a large public healthcare institution in Barcelona that plays a central role in coordinating clinical programs, medical research and patient-centred healthcare initiatives. The organization collaborates with local hospitals, regional health authorities and academic partners - driving both clinical excellence and continuous improvement in public health outcomes.

To support its expanding clinical portfolio and strengthen coordination across multidisciplinary teams, the institution is recruiting a Clinical Project Manager to oversee complex projects and contribute to strategic program delivery.

The Role

As Clinical Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and implementation of clinical programs and research initiatives across interlinked departments and external partners. You will work within a structured public-sector framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory, ethical and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across healthcare, research and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution and delivery of clinical and public health projects

  • Coordinate with clinicians, researchers, health administrators and external partners

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets and reporting requirements

  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and local regulations

  • Prepare documentation, progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Support project evaluation and continuous improvement

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice across teams

Your Profile

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field

  • Proven experience in clinical project coordination, clinical operations or research management

  • Good understanding of clinical environments and healthcare systems

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

  • Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or Catalan highly advantageous

  • Experience with public sector, academic or large healthcare organization is a plus
